More Districts Class-IV Posts in Fisheries Department, J&K

Application for Direct Recruitment to the class IV posts (District cadre) in the Fisheries Department are invited on the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) to this notification. The category wise breakup of vacancies is mentioned in the (Annexure B).

Application from AnnexureWto the notification) should be duly filled in by the candidate in his/ her own writing accompanied by two latest passport size photographs (one fixed at the space shown In the application form), attested copies o academic qualification, date of birth certificate, marks certificate of each examination passed, character certificate, category certificate issued by the .u r at jkupdates.competent authority in terms of SRO 294, state subject certificate and a demand draft of Rs. 50/= (rupees fifty only) non refundable in the name of Assistant Director Fisheries District Ganderbal from any branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank payable at RCC Srinagar along with application form before the last date of receipt of applications.

The application form complete in all respect should reach the office of Assistant Director Fisheries Ganderbal by or before 25 April 2018 during office hours.

Selection procedure:- The selection of candidate for the post of Fisheries Guard/ Chowkidar/ equivalent shall be made on their performance in their physical standard Test/ Written Test vis -a – vis number of vacancies. NOTE:- The appointment shall be made in terms of SRO 202 of 2015 as specified below.

i.A person appointed shall be initially on probation for a period of five years and after completion of five years, his

service shall be declared as permanent subject to .u r at jk up dat es.passing of such test, or successfully undergoing such training

as provided under the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification control and appeal) rules, 1956 or as

prescribed under relevant recruitment rules governing the post/ service to which he /she is appointed.
ii. During the period of first five years, the appointee shall be entitled to the maximum of scale of pay along with

grade pay applicable to the post against which he/ she is appointed.

The person appointed against any available vacancy on the basis of being a resident of backward area or an area adjoining line of actual control shall serve in such areas for a period of not less than 07 years as provided under sub section (2) of section reservation Act 2004.

Every appointee shall after completion of five years period on probation be entitled to fixation of pay in the time scale of pay applicable to the post against which he/ she is appointed..u r at jkup dates.The person appointed under these rules shall be entitled to annual Increments, Dearness Allowances, House Rent Allowances and city compensatory Allowances as admissible under rules after successful completion of five years service on consolidated salary.

these appointees shall be entitled to the benefits under the Medical Attendance rules and leave Rules from the date of their appointment

The seniority of persons appointed under these rules shall reckon from the date of their appointment at appropriate place.

The period spent on probation /Consolidated salary shall also reckon for purpose of calculating the qualifying service of these appointees for pension and other benefits provided under rules.

The candidateswho participate in the selection process against the post mentioned below should be permanent
resident of Jammu and Kashmir state and

A person shall be deemed to be resident of District Ganderbal if he/ she has resided in the District for a period not less than 15 years before the date of applying for a particular post and is actually residing in the said District.

If a woman marries outside the District, the period of .u r at jk upd ates.residence of 15 years shall not operate a bar for applying to the post provided that her husband has resided in that District as the case may be for a period of not less than 15 years.

The candidate will have to deposit/ submit his/ her application form with the Office of Assistant Director Fisheries District Ganderbal located at Mini Secretariat Ganderbal Room No. 407.
