Class IV Recruitment Lists under Directorate of Hospitality and Protocol, J&K
Provisional shortlist of the candidates for Class-IV posts advertised by the Directorate of Hospitality and Protocol, J&K vide advertisement Notification No.DHP/Estt/534- V/1329-35 dated 13-10-2014
Whereas, Directorate of Hospitality and Protocol advertised 26 posts of Class-IV vacancies vide notice No.DHP/Estt/534-V/1329-35 dated 13-10-2014 as per the following break up
Whereas, 354 applications were received against the advertised posts. After scrutinization, certain discrepancies/deficiencies were noticed in respect of certain candidates with regard to deficient documents which were subsequently got .u r at jkupdates.published in print media vide this office notice dated 29-10-2015 and the candidates were asked to submit the deficient documents in the offices of Deputy Director, Hospitality and Protocol, Kashmir, Church Lane, Srinagar or Joint Director, Hospitality and Protocol, Jammu, Ghulami Bag h, Canal Road, Jammu within the stipulated time. Whereas, subsequently 06 posts of Watchman viz (Divisional Cadre Kashmir=04 posts and Divisional Cadre Jammu=02) were .u r at jk u pda tes.withdrawn from the advertisement Notice, in view of the fact that the advertisement for the said posts was not in consonance with the Departmental Recruitment Rules, the notice of which was published in the daily Excelsior Jammu dated 19-05-2017 and Daily Kashmir Uzma dated 24-05-2017 and .u r at jk up da tes.Kashmir Images dated 26-05-2017.
Whereas the short list of candidates has been prepared as per the procedure and criteria given hereunder:
Criteria as laid down in the advertisement notice:
Total points for short listing = 100
Weightage to the marks Obtained in the Matriculation = 90
Points to be awarded for higher Qualification (up to 10+2) = 10
Weightage calculated on pro-rata basis with reference to the %age of marks obtained in each examination as per the formula (%age of marks x total points for particular Qualification divided by 100).
Whereas, short listing of candidates has been prepared on the basis of 1:5 ratio in each category and respective cut off merit for these posts arrived at is given as under
