FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CANDIDATES ON NEED BASED ACADEMIC ARRANGEMENT FOR SESSION 2021

Online applications, alongwith challan-based e-payment of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) to be deposited in the AK Bank Ltd., against SB Account No. 0363040500000001, are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Lecturers and Teaching Assistant purely on Need Based Academic Arrangement in Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar for academic session 2021 i.e. up to 31 g of December, 2021 or till the commencement of winter vacation, whichever happens to be earlier:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

LECTURER:

Masters Degree in the concerned subject or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system is followed, duly certified/notified by the concerned University with minimum 55% marks [50% Marks in case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physical/visual)] alongwith NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D.

TEACHING ASSISTANT:

Masters Degree in the concerned subject or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system is followed, duly certified / notified by the concerned University with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physical/visual) candidates).

The portal for submitting on-line application form is www.islamiacollege.edu.in and the link for online application(s) shall be open from 25th of February 2021 to fith of March, 2021. After applying online or procuring application(s) from College office, the candidates shall submit the hard copy alongwith the relevant self-attested documents to Principal, Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar by or before 10th of March, 2021.The criteria for preparing of the merit list for the academic session 2021 shall be as per the guidelines for engagement of candidates on academic arrangement basis in Degree Colleges of J&K UT under Government Order No. 88-(JK)-HE of 2020 Dated 17-02-2020.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL BE FIXED /DECIDED SEPARATELY BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY AND NOTIFIED ACCORDINGLY.

NOTE:

The engagement of candidate(s) will be purely on Need Based Academic Arrangement wherever requirement arises.

Principal, Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar shall prepare a common merit list for Lecturers and Teaching Assistants for the academic session 2021 strictly as per the criteria laid down in the Govt. guidelines for engagement of candidates on academic arrangement basis in Degree Colleges of J&K UT under Government Order No. 88-(JK)-HE of 2020 Dated 17-02-2020, reproduced as under.
