Grenade lobbed in Anantnag, 02 CRPF trooper injured

Suspected militants lobbed grenade on security forces on Wednesday evening in Lal chowk area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A senior police officer told that militants lobbed grenade on CRPF party. In this incident one CRPF personnal recieved splinter injuries. He was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers

Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured after suspected militants’ lobbed grenade in Lal Chowk area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.

A senior police officer told the news agency  that militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF party of 40 battalion CRPF in Lal Chowk area of Anantnag, resulting in injuries to two CRPF men.

Both were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers
