Jammu University admission Open 2019 for B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the admission under Choice Based Credit System to Semester-I of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.B.A/B.C.A (General) Course for the academic year 2019-20 in the Government Degree Colleges affiliated to the University of Jammu falling under Winter Zone shall be made as under:

a) 15-05-2019 to 24-05-2019 (without late fee) in case of CBSE students whose result have been declared on 02-05-2019.

b) with late fee of Rs. 2910/ for all other eligible candidate,

The students are advised to attend class work immediately after admission. The principals shall ensure that extra classes are conducted to bridge up the gap of lectures/syllabus of the fresh batch with that of already admitted students.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.A./B.Sc,/B.Com Semester-l

Admission to Semester-l of the Three Year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (general) Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher Secondary Part-II(10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto subject to the availability of seats & if otherwise found eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.B.A Course Semester-l

Admission. to Semester-I of the Three Year B.B.A. Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the.Higher Secondary Part-II (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and has obtained at least 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.C.A Course Semester-l

Admission to Semester-I of the Three Year B.C.A. Course shall be open to a candidate having passed the Higher secondary Part-II (10+2 pattern) examination (in full subjects) of the Jammu and Kashmir state Board of school Education, CBSE or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with mathematics as one of the elective subjects and has obtained at least 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination in case of General category candidates and 45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Note:

1. The admission in the Govt. Degree College imparting instruction in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Course affiliated to the University of Jammu shall be made directly by the Admission committee of the college concerned on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination & strictly as per other statutes.

2. The examination shall be held as per the schedule to be notified by the Controller of Examination separately
