Pay scale : PB-2, 9300-34800 + Rs. 4300/- GP
Age Limit : Not more than 59 years as on 1 Jan 2017
Applications are invited from retired Defence Officers of the rank of Col/Lt Col/Maj or equivalent rank in the Indian Navy/Air Force for Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Jammu on contractual basis to reach this office by Last Date along with complete army record of service, copy of State Subject Certificate, PPO and a latest passport size photograph.
Eligibility Criteria
(a) The post is of Class-I Gazetted Officer with the pay scale of PB-2, 9300-34800 with a grade pay of Rs. 4300/- plus allowances as admissible under rules. Pay on re-employment shall be fixed as per rules provided in the J&K Civil Service Regulations. DA will be entitled on pay and not on the Defence Pension during re-employment.
(b) The officer must be a permanent resident of J&K State.
(c) The officer who have retired from the Defence Service within three years from the date of application and are not more than 59 years of age on 1st January 2017 are eligible to apply.
(d) There will be no pensionary benefits to the officer for this service and he will be governed by J&K CSRs and other Government orders/instructions issued from time to time. The services of the Officer can be terminated with one month notice, without notice with one month pay, if his conduct is not satisfactory during the service.
