Constitution of Child Welfare Committees of 22 Districts of Jammu and Kashmir
REFERENCE: Government Order No: 52-SW of 2018, Dated 06/02/2018.
Vide Notice No. 15 of WO of 2017 Dated 18/04/2017 read with re-advertisement DIP/K-7913 dated 26/07/2017, advertisement for appointment of Chairperson and members of Child Welfare Committees (CWCs). under section 30 of the the Act, were circulated for general public through newspapers.
Since response of both these advertisements was Inadequate In terms of prescribed qualifications (or the Chairperson and members of the committee as laid down in Rule 25.
Consequent upon inadequate number of applicants received for said appointment the recruitment was thrown open via Valk-in’ interview to all interested and .u r at j k u p d a t e s.eligible candidates via DIPK-12174/17 and Notification No. MD/IC PS/2018/6318. .u r at jk up da te s.This was primarily done to increase the pool of candidates and was widely circulated through Social media including FM Radio, AIR Srinagar, Jammu and Ladakh Channels with given date for interview for each district/group of districts.
Under the chairmanship of Hontlelustke Hasnain Masoodi, Former Judge J&K High Court the interviews were conducted by the Selection cum oversight Committee constituted under Rule 89 Vide SRO 75 dated 27/02/2017 in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
A separate panel of candidates (or Chairperson and members of CWCs of all 22 districts of Jammu and Kashmir was submitted to Government for notification of the CWCs in exercise of .u r at j k upd at es.the powers conferred to the undersigned under Rule 90(8) read with Rule 90(9).
Vide Govt Order No. 52 -SW of 2018 dated 06/02/2018, Govt granted approval to the constitution of committees, and the same are notified hereby in Annexure -A for general public and for the concerned chairperson/members to join as per the terms and conditions given in Annexure-B.
The vacancies in some the .u r at jk up da te s.districts where applicants were not found shall be recommended as and when suitable candidates are identified and Selection•cum-oversight Committee takes a decision about filling in such vacancies.
