Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Lecturers and Teaching Assistant Purely on Need Based Academic Arrangement in Jammu & Kashmir Institute of Mathematical sciences, Srinagar for academic session 2021 i.e., up to 31st of December,2021 or till the commencement of winter vacation, whichever happens to be earlier:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: LECTURER
Master’s Degree In the concerned subject or its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system is followed, duly certified/notified by the concerned University with minimum 55% marks (50%Marks in case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (physical/visual)] alongwith NET/SLET/SET/Ph.D.
TEACHING ASSISTANT:
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject or Its equivalent degree in a grade point scale wherever grading system Is followed, duly certified / notified by the concerned university with minimum 55% marks (50%in case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Differently-abled (physical/visual) candidates).

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The criteria for preparing of the merit list for the academic session 2021 shall be as per the guidelines for engagement of cand ‘dates on academic arrangement basis In Degree Colleges of J&K LIT under Government Order No. 88-(JK)-HE of 2020 dated 17-02-2020.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL BE FIXED /DECIDED SEPARATELY BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY AND NOTIFIED ACCORDINGLY.
The engagement of candidate(s) will be purely on Need Based Academic Arrangement wherever requirement arises.
Director JKIMS, Srinagar shall prepare a common merit list for Lecturers and Teaching Assistants for the academic session 2021 strictly as per the criteria laid down in the Govt. guideline for engagement of candidates on academic arrangement basis In Degree Co lieges of J&KUT under Government Order No28-(JK)-HE of 2020 dated 17-02-2020, reproduced as under.
