NOTICE FOR EXTENSION OF TIME FOR FILING APPLICATION TO FILL UP VACANCY OF MEMBER IN THE DISTRICT CONSUMER FORUM, DODA (BHADERWAH)

Due to poor response of applications invited vide notice no. 183 dated 26.04.2019, for filling up vacancy of Member of the District Consumer Forum Doda (Bhaderwah) under the Jammu & Kashmir Consumer Protection(amendment) Act, 2002, the date of receipt of applications is hereby extended upto 25 May 2019 on the following terms and conditions.

The applicant should be a person of ability and integrity, having adequate knowledge or experience of dealing with problems relating to economics, law, commerce, accountancy,industry, public affairs and administration.

The terms and conditions of appointment including honorarium shall be as per the rules under Jammu and Kashmir Consumer Protection Act.Submission of applications shall not give the right of being appointed to the applicants.

The committee constituted under the Act to make the recommendations to the government for appointment shall have the right to reject the candidature of any applicant if found unsuitable.

Applications shall be screened for recommendations to the government on 27.05.2019 at2.00 PM in the office chamber of the Chairman. Three names shall be recommend-ed for the post of the member to the government for appointment
