Engagement of candidates as Assistant Professors on Academic Arrangement (AA) basis in School of Architecture ,GCET campus, Chak Bhalwal, Jammu for the session 2021-22

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Assistant Professors on Academic Arrangement (AA) in School of Architecture, GCET Campus, Jammu for the Academic Session 2021-22 on need basis , as per the details mentioned below:

Name of the Posts :

Assistant Professor (Architecture)

Qualification and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch and Master’s Degree in Architecture or in an allied subjects of Architecture with minimum 60 per cent marks at either level and 01 year of relevant professional experience.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent to B.Arch with minimum 60 percent marks and minimum three year’s of relevant profession experience.

Assistant Professor (Structural Engineering) :

Qualification and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent with minimum 60 per cent Marks at either level.

Desirable : Ph.D in Structural Engineering.

Selection Process :

The Principal, School of Architecture, Jammu shall conduct interview and/or arrange a written/screening test for the eligible candidates, if required. However, the candidates with NET/SLET/Ph.D are exempted from written/screening test.

The selection of the candidates shall be made by the Selection Committee strictly on the basis of Merit list to be prepared.
