Applications are invited in the prescribed format, available on University website, from candidates for one temporary position on academic arrangement basis in the School of Biotechnology for the academic session 2021-22 & 2022- 23 (1st Semester),
Name of the Posts :
Assistant Professor (Bioinformatics): 01 Post
Essential Qualification :
High second class (55 % marks) Postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics
Desirable qualification :
NET/SET/Ph.D. in concerned subject & Teaching/ Research experience in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology as evident from documents /publications
Age limit: Candidate age limit should not be less than 20 years and not more than 55 years as on 01-01-2022
Consolidated wages: Rs. 45000/- per month for Ph D, and Rs. 35000/- per month for masters candidates. (Fixed)
Note : The mode of interview shall be Online/offline, the time slot and interview ID will be provide to the eligible candidates on the schedule date & time through E-mail.
Terms and Conditions for academic arrangement are as under:
The engagement shall be purely on contract basis,
No legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post in the University. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement one month notice is essential,
Initial appointment is for 2nd semester of academic session 2021-22. The extension for one more semester (i.e 1st semester, 2022-23) may be granted subject to satisfactory performance of the contractee and availability of funds,
Eligible candidates will be informed through E-mail,
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview,

The application form complete in all respect along with attested copies of the certificates and accompanied with postal order of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, Faculty of Agriculture payable at Chatha should reach the office of the Coordinator, School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J , Main Campus Chatha, Jammu- 180009 (J&K) on or before 18.01.2022, upto 5 P.M. by REGISTERED/SPEED POST
