SKUAST Jammu Engagement of Contractual teacher / Faculty on Academic Arrangement basis
Online applications are invited on a prescribed format available on website www.skuast.org for engagement of contractual teacher / Faculty on Academic Arrangement basis for teaching MBA (Agri-Business Management) courses The engagement shall be purely temporary tn nature for a period of one academic semester and extendable for one more (next) semester on need basis. The engagement shall be governed by university rules as notified vide (9) (secy) of 2017 dt: 11.05.2017.
Essential qualifications and other details of the contractual appointment are as under.

The mode of interview shall be online/offline. The time slot and interview Id will be provided to the eligible candidates on the schedule date and time. The candidates applying through online mode have to pay an online application fee of Rs. 300 drawn in favour of HoD, AEABM.
The engagement shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:
1) The engagement shall be purely temporary on academic arrangement basis and the contractual appointee shall not entitle any claim of absorption / regular appointment in the university / continuation of service beyond the time stipulated herein.
2) The engagement shall be for a period of one academic semester for the session 2020-21 and extendable for one more (next semester) on need basis.
3) The appointee before joining shall have to execute an agreement stamped in a judicial paper with the division on the prescribed format which will be provided when appointment is issued.
4) The engagement of appointee shall be terminable before the expiry of the specified period with one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority / or the engaged teacher as the case may be.
5) The appointee shall have to report within 21 days from the issue of the order to Prof. & Head, Div. of Agricultural Economics & ABM, failing which the appointment shall be treated as cancelled automatically.
