Applications in prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates (both essential and desirable
qualifications) for the temporary positions as mentioned in the table below under the ad-hoc project entitled
“Technological innovations in enhancing ovine and caprine production performance and its value addition for
sustainable livelihood of nomadic shepherds of UT of Jammu and Kashmir” sponsored by Ministry of Fisheries,
Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of India.

Post : Young Professional-I, Young Professional-II

Salary : 25k to 35k

Terms and conditions for the project:

1. The candidates shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise
against any regular post or any other contractual engagement as the project is purely time bound and non-regular.

2. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated
automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim on the permanent absorption in this University.

3. The eligibility of a candidate will be subjected to both essential and desirable qualifications as mentioned.

4. The University/funding agency/PI reserves the right to withdraw advertised posts at any stage without assigning
any reason and terminate on nonperformance.

5. Monthly salary will be given only on the availability of grants as received quarterly.

6. No objection and experience certificate from the current employer in case she/he is in employment.

7. Selected candidates will have to join duty within a period of one week time after the receipt of the offer letter.

8. Working experience will only be claimed based on testimonials/certificates.

How to apply:

The hard copy of the application in the prescribed format (ANNEXURE I) along with the self-attested
testimonials/certificate must reach by post to Dr. Arvind Kumar, Principal Investigator, Division of Livestock
Products Technology, F.V.Sc. & A.H., SKUAST-J, R.S. Pura, Jammu-181102, J&K; on or before 24th of April,
2023. The eligible candidates will be interviewed on 28th of April, 2023 in the office of Director Research, SKUASTJ,
Administrative Block, Chatha- 180009, Jammu at 11:30 A.M. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the
interview.
