J&K Govt Passes Strict order on Marriages, Functions, Maximum 500 Guest,14 Dishes, No Sweets or Dry Fruits with Invitation Cards

Reason is to prevent wastage of food

CAPD Minister Zulfkar Choudhary has given 40 days grace period for the  implementation of the order.

The order shall come into effect from April 1, 2017

The number of guests to be invited on marriage of daughter i.e baraat, Marriage of son : 500 Guests

Marriage of Son : 400 guests

Small functions like engagement etc Other small functions should be : 100 Guests

There shall be complete ban on use of loudspeakers, Firecrackers and amplifiers
