Militants Escape After Brief Encounter With Security Forces In Kishtawar Forests
A brief gun battle between militants and security forces in Keshwaan forests of district Kishtawar ended with the escape of the militants, reports said
The brief exchange of fire erupted after security forces including 26RR, started a cordon and seach operation in Keshwaan forest early in the day after receiving a tip-off about the presence of militants
As the security forces tried to close in on the militants, they opened fire and immediately escaped,”reports said
Reports added that the security forces also responded to the firing which continued for a brief period. However, their searches after the exchange of fire did not yield any results.
