Srinagar Gunfight: Two AuGH Militants killed: ADGP Kashmir

Says Both Were Involved in killing of a West Bengal Labourer

Police on Wednesday identified both the militants who were killed in a gunfight at Nowgam area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

While Quoting ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, The Kashmir Police Zone wrote on twitter, “Killed militants were affiliated with militant outfit AGuH & identified as Aijaz Rasool Nazar of Pulwama & Shahid Ahmad @ Abu Hamza. They were involved in recent militant attack on an outside labourer namely Muneer ul Islam from West Bengal on 2/9/22 in Pulwama.

Pertinently Both Shahid resident of Malpora Budgam and Ajaz Rasool Najar of Karimabad had gone missing few days ago.(GNS)

Two Militants Killed in Srinagar Encounter

On a specific input generated by Police, an encounter has started in the Nowgam area of Srinagar District. Srinagar Police and 50RR are on the job.
