Tentative seniority list of Senior Assistants (UT/JDC/KDC Cadre) of J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service as on 01.07.2022.

CIRCULAR NO. 16-DES OF 2022

Whereas, Rule-11 of SRO 252 J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 1989, provides for maintenance of updated and final seniority of members of the service strictly as per J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules 1956;

Whereas, the Directorate of Economics & Statistics has notified the Tentative combined Seniority list of Senior Assistants borne on the J&K Economics &
Statistics (Subordinate) Service vide Circular issued under endorsement No. DES/ Seniority/ 222/ 2018 (Adm)/ 7908-8077 dated 25.01.2019;

Whereas, the process for segregation of the seniority has been completed in pursuance to Rule 4 of SRO-375 of 2010 dated 21.10.2020 (J&K Civil Services
Decentralization & Recruitment Rules, 2010) and the cadre wise (UT/JDC/KDC) draft seniority list of Senior Assistant has been framed accordingly; Whereas, following members of the service falling in the category who have been apportioned to UT of Ladakh in terms of Government Order No. 1212-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 15.11.2021 and Circular No. 09-JK(GAD) of 2022 dated 08.03.2022 have been excluded from the draft seniority:

1. Mr. Abdul Majid Khan; and
2. Ms. Kunzus Angmo
Whereas, the Departmental Promotion Committee in its meeting held under the chairmanship of Director General, Economics & Statistics, J&K on 15.12.21 has among other things taken the following decision:-

The Directorate will issue the final Seniority list of all categories of employees after inviting the necessary objections

Now therefore, the Tentative Seniority List (cadre wise) of Senior Assistants borne on the J&K Economics & Statistics (Subordinate) Service as on 01.07.2022 is hereby notified as Annexure to this Circular for inviting objections, if any, from the members of the service. The members of this service can also access the Tentative Seniority List on the Official Website of Directorate of Economics and Statistics, J&K i.e. www.ecostatjk.nic.in. The date(s) of birth as well as category recorded (RBA/OSC/ALC) indicated against the official in the Seniority List, shall not be taken as authentic, and, shall be subject to the verification from the Service Book(s)/ Matriculation Certificates/ other relevant government record as prescribed under rules/ norms

Accordingly, the members of the service are directed to file their objections, if any, within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this Circular with documentary proof in support of their claim. After 21 days, no objection shall be entertained, and Final Seniority List shall be issued.
