Press release regarding 194th Board Meeting of the J&K Services Selection Board
The J&K Services Selection Board convened 194th Board meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Khalid Jahangir, KAS, Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board in his office chamber to consider various agenda items including selection lists with respect to various posts for various Departments, Withheld recommendation cases under UT Cadre, Jammu/Kashmir Division, District Cadre and Cancellation of candidature of candidate.
During the meeting various agenda items which included release of withheld recommendations of District Cadre, Divisional Cadre Jammu, Divisional Cadre, Kashmir, UT Cadre and PM Package (Migrants) and in respect of which deficiencies/shortcoming were completed by the candidates were taken up for consideration. After threadbare deliberations and discussion, the Board decided to release recommendations in favour of 30 candidates in various disciplines.
It was also decided to re-examine/defer 11 number of cases, while candidature of 03 candidates have been cancelled and 05 candidates have been declared “Not Eligible” after thorough discussion.
The Board also approved selection lists of 08 candidates in various subjects and 72 posts, which were pending since long time were returned to the concerned Indenting Department, due to various deficiencies/non-availability of eligible candidates.
Further, 01 court case of urgent nature was also discussed in the meeting in which appropriate decision
for its proper disposal was taken.
