Applications are invited in the plain paper for engagement of a retired Civil Engineer for rendering contractual services of engineering, designing, estimating, supervision and evaluation including project execution on standalone basis of Jammu Smart City Ltd, Jammu. Vacancy and other details are as under:

Name of the post :

Chief/Superintending Engineer Civil

Maxi mum Age as on 31-03-2021 (not exceeding) : 62 years

Tenure of Contract : Engineer will be engaged initially for a period of one year,
extendable annual y till the age of 65 years subject to satisfactory performance.

For retired employees from pensionable govt. employment: A consolidated monthly remuneration equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension drawn, according to the level of rank at the time of retirement/superannuation.

For retired employees from non – pensionable govt. /semi-govt employment like Autonomous Bodies, PSUs etc., a consolidate monthly remuneration is as per of Rs.0.75 Lacs.

The last date for receipt of applications 07/04/2021 at 5:00 P.M.

EXPERIENCE AND ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :

CHIEF/SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER (CIVIL) :

Essential Qualification:

Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University/ Institution.

Person who has honorably retired in the rank of Superintending Engineer or above from Centra / State PWD or Central or State PSUs /Railways/ Central or State Government Dept/ Autonomous Bodies of the Central Govt. Need only apply.

Desirable Qualification :

Persons who retired in last 1 years as on 31/03/2020.

Persons having Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Person having working knowledge of computers viz MS Office, MS Windows, Excel,

Experience:

Retired government engineers having experience in Urban Infrastructure Projects.

SELECTION PROCESS :

The selection will be through a personal interview which will be held at the Jammu Smart City Ltd., Town Hall, JMU, Jammu.

The candidate must physically fit, motivated, dynamic and result oriented and willing to join immediately after selection. No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Date of interview shall be conveyed to the shortlisted candidates by telephone or email.

Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date last date will be rejected. No interim correspondence will be entertained. The last date for receipt of application is 07/04/2021, at 5:00P.M.

Merely fulfilment of the minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right of the candidate being called for interview Since it may not be possible to call all the candidates for interview, the applications can be short listed for the purpose.
