PHE Employees United Front calls for protest on 22nd Dec In Jammu
Several members of ‘PHE Employees United Front Jammu’ on Wednesday held a protest demonstration in Jammu against their long pending demands such as regularization, withheld salaries of months from several months and implementation of SRO-64.
A member of the PHE United Front Mr Ravi Hans told the media its their 175th day of protest and the PHE employees have been frequently raising their issues before the higher authorities since long but their attitude towards them are still cold.
“We have attended twenty meetings so far conducted by the local govt for our concerns, but nothing fruitful came from them. Two years ago, LG sir told us that after the DDC elections all our issues will be solved but nothing has been done regarding that. On Dec 10th, he said our demands are valid and will be resolved immediately, but still we are waiting for the administration to do something us”, he said.
He added that on 22nd of December they are going to hold a big demonstration at Panama Chowk in Jammu and have called all the PHE daily wagers to come there for the protest against the regime.
