J&K Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Govt Department Applications are invited from suitable candidates who are permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir along with latest two passport size photographs on the proforma annexed to this notification for the post of Social Audit Expert under MGNREGA purely on contractual basis for one year, which may be extended further .u r at jkupdates.in.depending upon the performance and requirement of the Scheme/department. The selection/engagement will be based on the interview and subject to fulfilment of terms and conditions as laid down in contract.

Qualification : P.G in Social Science, Economics, Sociology and Political Science from a recognized University.

Work experience : At least 5 years of Experience in the conduct of Social Audits and rights based activities or Administrative experience in the relevant field.

Salary :  Rs 20,000/- PM

Age as on 01.01.2018

General Category:– Minimum- 35 years, Maximum- 60 years O Reserved Category:- Minimum- 35 years, Maximum- 63 years

Minimum Role and Responsibilities :

Assist the Director in the day today functioning of the Social Audit Unit(SAU) and policy direction and design issues in the conduct of social audit.

Liaison with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the .u r at jk upd ates.in.State for ensuring effective partnership between Social Audit Unit and CSOs.

Guide and design the training process for conducting social audits.

Develop Mechanisms of outreach and communications.

Conduct a research and data analysis on the findings of social audit.

Monitoring of social audit calendar of district under his/her jurisdiction (to be assigned by the Department Rural Development)

Any other assignment/role entrusted by the State RDD/Director Social Audit Unit.

The terms and condition for these engagements shall be:-

The candidate should be permanent .u r at jku pdates.in. resident of Jammu and Kashmir having no criminal background;

The engagement shall purely be on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, extendable based on the requirement of scheme/performance of incumbent;

The services of appointed candidate shall be liable to termination at any time by a notice in writing by either parties. The period of such notice shall be one month;

At no point of time, the candidate shall be entitled to be absorbed in regular service or made permanent. The candidate shall furnish an affidavit to this effect.

The Number of positions may increase or decrease as per programme requirement and approval;

At any stage of recruitment, if it is found that candidate does not fulfil the eligible criteria and/or that he/she has furnished incorrect/false .u r at jk up da tes.in.information/certificate/document or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature/appointment will stand cancelled and necessary legal action will be initiated;

The department reserves the right to cancel any or all positions at any stage of recruitment process.
