Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistants in the project entitled “ALICE (U,O&U)” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

The appointments will be purely temporary and limited to the duration of the project. The positions will be based in High Energy Physics Group, Department of Physics, University of Jammu.

Salary : Rs. 12,000/-

Qualification : M.Sc. Physics with at least six months research experience in High Energy Physics. Expe­rience with handling particle detectors would be an added advantage.

Terms & Condition for the Project

The candidate shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularization/ .u r at jk updates.appointment by absorption or otherwise against any post or any other con­tractual engagement on termination of the scheme/project.

The engagement in the scheme/project is purely time bound, non regular and co-terminus basis with the project.

The service of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the said project.
