Power Shut Down in Various Areas, J&K, JKPDD, Light Off, Work on Progress, Electricity in Jammu, Electricity in Kashmir
According to Chief Engineer, Elect. Maintt.& R.E. Wing, Jammu, to carryout the replacement of outdatedjumpers at 33KV yard, the shut-down of 132/33/11KV Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-I, Jammuis being observed.During the shutdown, thepower supply to Bari-Brahmana,Vijaypur, Smailpur, Jakh,Kartholi, parts of GreaterKailash, Industrial feederNarbada and Birpur Complex feeders will remain affected onMarch 17 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, to execute work forpainting of 33KV poles andurgent maintenance of the 33KVlines, the shutdown of 33KVSecretariat-Parade line is beingobserved.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Peer Mitha,Parade, Pacca Danga, MotiBazar, Pahari Mohalla, LinkRoad, Purani Mandi, CentreBasic School, Part of Secretariat and adjoining areas will remainaffected on March 17 from 9.30am to 3.30 pm.

Likewise, to carry out urgent maintenance works near Doda,the shutdown of 132 KVUdhampur-Kishtwar NHPC Transmission Line is being observed.During the shutdown, thepower supply to District Dodaand Kishtwar will remain affect-ed on March 16 from 9 am to 4pm.Similarly, for completion ofbalance work (Painting of 33KVST Poles) in the premises of M/sIndian Oil Corporation Ltd., theshutdown of 33KVVijaypur Lineis being observed.
During the shutdown, thepower supply to Vijaypur,Koulpur, Bandral, Ramgarh andits adjoining areas on rotationalbasis will remain affected onMarch 17 from 10 am to 4 pm.Likewise, to carry out pre-ventive maintenance, rectificaion of hotspots and conducting of Tan-delta and other diagnostic tests on power transformer & other equipments and insertion of poles in longer span of 132KVDulhasti line by NHPC, the shut-down of 220/132/33KV GridStation Udhampur is also beingobserved.During the shutdown, thepower supply to Udhampur,Chenani, Army, Ramnagar, dis-trict Doda and Kishtwar willremain affected on March 16from 9 am to 4 pm.Meanwhile, to carry out pre-ventive maintenance work in out-door switchyard and connectingof 220 KV Busbar, Jumpersbetween Bishnah and The in Linebays along with various otherworks under PSDF, the shutdownof 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KVGrid Station Hiranagar is beingobserved.During the shutdown, thepower supply to Bishnah, MiranSahib, BB-I Grid, katha,Mahanpur, Sewa HEP, Samba,Billawar, Hiranagar and adjoining areas including Industrial areas will remain affected onMarch 17 from 10 am to 4 pm.
However, as per Superintending Engineer,EM&RE Circle, Jammu, to carryout different development works,the shutdown of 11KV feeders ofSainik Colony is being observed.During the shutdown, the power supply to Sainik Colonyand its adjoining areas will remain affected on March 16, 18and 20 from 9 am to 1 pm.Similarly, the power supplyto Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on March 18 from 9 amto 1 pm.
Likewise, to carry out pole installation works at Bathindi,the shutdown of 11KV feeder atBathindi R/Stn is being observed.During the shutdown, thepower supply to Bathindi and its adjoining areas will remain affected on March 16, 18 and 20from 7 am to 12 noon.
