9-11th Nov: Widespread Rain/Snowfall over higher reaches. (forecast confidence >75%)

11th onwards: Expect improvement.

Probable Impacts:

Snowfall & low temp. may lead to temporary disruption of surface transportation, mainly over Zojila, Jmu-Srinagar HW, Leh-Manali road etc.

Prior to embark on journey, Know the status of the road from the Traffic police to avoid inconveniences.

Travellers on major passes are advised to carry sufficient food items, warm shoes, clothes etc. With them as road conditions remain uncertain during inclement weather.
