Applications are invited from eligible candidates to be appointed for the post of Senior Medical Officer on contractual basis initial for period of one year in ART Centre, Govt. Medical College, Jammu. Applications should be submitted as per format attached with this advertisement. Applications should be submitted by hand or by post to the office of Principal & Dean, GMC Jammu by or before 05-01-2022 with self attested copy of all essential documents i.e Academic, Technical and experience, if any. The detail of the post is given as below :
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1. The candidate should be a Domicile of U.T of Jammu & Kashmir.
2. It is sole responsibility of the candidate to track his/her application. Govt. Medical College, Jammu will not be responsible for any postal delay.
3. Canvassing in anyway will lead to disqualification of the concerned candidate.
4. The period of engagement is for a fixed tenure of one year (12 months) or till continuation of funding by NACO, Govt. of India. The contract can however be extended to a maximum of three years depending on the candidate’s performance and budget grant from the funding agency.
5. The selection should not be deemed as employment at GMC, Jammu.
6. The selected candidates will have to submit undertaking in the shape or affidavit regarding abiding of a rules and regulations mentioned in the advertisement notice on Rs. 100 stamp paper duy attested by 1st Class Magistrate. The candidate will also have to submit an undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper stating that he/she not approach the Hon’ble Court for regularization of his/her service on the basis of the order issued for the above
post or continuation of service in any case,
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. Candidates should bring all the original certificates of educational qualifications, copies of research publications and experience certificate, Identity proof along with two photographs and a set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates and relevant documents (Date of Birth and Domicile) at the time of interview.
8. After scrutinizing the applications received in due date, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. If necessary, a written examination will be conducted and the candidates qualifying the written test will only be called for interview
9. The decision of the selection committee regarding appointment of candidate will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
10. The information regarding the selected candidates for the interview and Recruited/ engaged candidates will be notified separately on the official website of Govt. Medical College, Jammu.
11. GMC Jammu reserves all rights to change the selection procedure, rules & cancellation of rules.
12. Govt. Medical College, Jammu reserves the right to terminate appointment at any time, if the performance of the appointee is not upto the expectation level. If the candidate wants to resign, a notice period of 30 days is must, failing which he/she shall have to deposit one months salary
