JK BOPEE Notification Regarding AYUSH/BPT Courses-2022
Conduct of 2nd Round of Upgradation/Allotment Counselling (Physical) for admission to AYUSH/BPT Courses-2022 in Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K.
Reference :
i) Notification No. 111-BOPEE of 2022 dated 28.12.2022.
ii) Letter No. GUMC/No. /22/929-32 dated 31.12.2022 from Nodal Officer, Govt. Unani Medical College & Associated Hospital, Ganderbal, Kashmir.
Pursuant to online counselling for filling up of seats under AYUSH/BPT Courses-2022, the selection list of candidates was notified by the Board vide Notification No. 111-BOPEE of 2022 dated 28.12.2022 and the candidates were directed to report to the allotted Colleges upto 03.01.2023. Consequent upon shortfall received from the Colleges running AYUSH/BPT Courses-2022 and the Seats of BUMS Course-2022 in Government Unani Medical College, Safapora, Ganderbal, Kashmir, which have now become available, it is hereby notified for information of the candidates that the Board shall
conduct the 2nd Round of Up-gradation/Allotment Counselling (Physical) for admission to these Courses in Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K on 9th and 10th of January, 2023 at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar simultaneously as per the following schedule
Note :
1. Since, the Regulatory Body for Ayush Courses has lately accorded approval to the Government Unani Medical College, Safapora, Ganderbal, Kashmir to run
the course, the Board shall include the Seats of said College/Course in Seat Matrix during this Round of Counselling.
2. As an exceptional case, for session 2022-23 only, the candidates selected vide Notification No. 111-BOPEE of 2022 dated 28.12.2022, but have failed to take admission for one or the other reason shall also be eligible to participate in this Round of Counselling to contest only for the Seats of the Government Unani Medical College, Ganderbal, Kashmir on Merit basis.
3. The Reservation as provided under the Reservation Act as amended from time to time shall be applicable only in Government Colleges/Institutions.
4. The Counselling process shall be closed immediately after the Seats are exhausted fully.
5. The candidate(s), if any who miss his/her Counselling on the day/date/time of the Counselling, he/she shall be allowed to participate in the Counselling subject to the condition that he/she shall not claim for the Seat which otherwise was available on his/her actual turn of Counselling.
6. The candidate(s), if any, allocated the Seat/Course/College during online round of Counselling and are satisfied with the same, need not to visit the
Board offices.
7. The candidates in their own interest are hereby advised to visit the Official Website of the Board (www.jkbopee.gov.in) for daily updates.
8. The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified in e-Information Brochure, Notifications and Notices issued by the Board from time to time in this regard.
