JKBOSE issues strict instructions against schools forcing students to buy books from them

Implementation of Textbooks published by J&KBOSE by all the Private Schools affiliated with J&KBOSE.

In continuation to this office notification No: F(PP-Publication)B/22 Dated: 26-08-2022, it is once again reiterated for information of all the stake holder especially all the Private Schools affiliated with J&KBOSE across UT of J&K that only the textbooks published by J&KBOSE are implemented/ prescribed for classes 6th to 8th from the ensuing academic session, failing which necessary action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against the defaulters.

The order also stated that Parents are advised that in case any school forces them to purchase books other than those published by J&KBOSE, they should immediately contact J&KBOSE
