Indian Space Research Organization Headquarters (ISRO HQ), Bangalore invites application for Apprenticeship for one year training in the following Trades with B.E./B.Tech, Diploma in Engineering and Diploma in Commercial Practice under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Amendment Act of 1973, from candidates who acquired Degree / Diploma from any recognized University / Technical Board coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry) for the training year 2022-23. The number of Training positions and essential
qualifications prescribed are indicated against each column :
How To Apply
a. The candidates shall fill the application in UMANG Portal. The candidates are advised to upload the following documents in jpg/jpeg/png format, for further processing and short listing of the candidates
b. All correspondence with candidates shall be done through email only. Responsibility of downloading and printing of Application form/offer letter shall be hat of the candidates. ISRO HQ, Bangalore will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent due to invalid / wrong e-mail id provided by the candidate or delivery of email to SPAM/BULK mail folder etc.
c. Candidates should enroll in the NATS portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and provide their enrolment ID (Apprenticeship Registration No.) in the UMANG portal while applying for Apprenticeship training. The same Apprenticeship Registration No. should be used by the candidate at the time of joining for registration under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Selection Procedure :
a. The consolidated applications will be screened subsequently and selection panels will be drawn based on the academic scores of the candidates at Degree / Diploma level. The induction of apprentices against the vacant training positions will be made strictly based on their position in the panel. Only selected candidates will be informed through offer letter by email.
Other Terms & Condition for selection of Apprentices :
a. Only Indian nationals need to apply.
b. Candidates who have completed three years after acquiring the prescribed qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship training (i.e. candidates who have passed Degree / Diploma in relevant field during or after January 2020 are only eligible to apply). Further, candidates who are positioned/waitlisted for engagement, will not be considered for training, if they cross the three years’ time limit, at the time of issue of offer.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act 1973 or having one year or more experience from any institutions are not eligible to apply.
d. Candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply
