Provisional Selection List of Candidates Upgraded/Allotted seats during Mop Up Round of counselling (physical) for admission
to MDS courses-2023.

Reference : –

i) Notification No. 087-BOPEE of 2023 dated 25.09.2023.

ii) Notice No. 030-BOPEE of 2023 dated 27.09.2023.

iii) WP(C) No 2327/2023 CM (5435/2023) titled Mohd Imran Vs UT of J&K & Ladakh.

iv) Corrigendum to Notice 030 dated 27.09.2023 issued under No. BOPEE/Exam- 10/2023 dated 12.10.2023.

iv) Notification No. 092-BOPEE of 2023 dated 13.10.2023.

Pursuant to Notification No. 092-BOPEE of 2023 dated 13.10.2023, the Mop Up Round of counselling (Physical) for Upgradation/Allotment of Seats of NEET MDS course was conducted by the Board on 15th October, 2023 at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar simultaneously. The list of candidates who have been provisionally upgraded/allotted seats/disciplines in Government Dental Colleges of UT of J&K is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this Notification which shall remain available
on official website of the Board i.e. www.jkbopee.gov.in only. The candidates upgraded/allotted seats/disciplines/institutions
during Mop Up Round shall have to join in their allotted colleges by or before 20.10.2023 upto 4:00 p.m. positively from the date
of issuance of this notification.

It is further notified for information of all the concerned candidates that the Upgradation/Allotment of seats during the Mop Up Round of counselling shall be purely on provisional basis and shall not confer any preferential right upon the selected candidates and shall be subject to outcome of writ petition No. 2327/2023 CM No. 5435/2023 titled Mohd Imran Vs UT of J&K pending before Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh at Jammu and any other writ petition, subjudice before the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh, on the subject.

It shall be sole responsibility of the Colleges/ Institutions concerned to ensure proper checking/verification of documents/ eligibility as per the DCI guidelines before the candidate is allowed to join the course he/she is provisionally selected for. The Colleges /Institutions shall submit the shortfall, if any, to BOPEE Office, Jammu /Srinagar upto 5.00 p.m. on 20.10.2023.

Note :

1. The admission of the candidates upgraded/allotted seats during Mop Up Round of counselling is purely provisional and shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidates proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates.

2. The candidates who have been upgraded /allotted seats during the mop up round shall have to necessarily join in
the college against the allotted seat(s).

3. The Heads of the colleges are advised to release the documents/ certificates and fee immediately to such candidates who have been upgraded during mop up round of counselling to enable them to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed time limit.

4. It is pertinent to mention here that as per the Notification No. 092-BOPEE of 2023 dated 13.10.2023 the Board has
received one representation from a candidate namely Sultan Mehmood Malik having UT Rank 70 whose category is actually PSP but inadvertently mentioned as OM in provisional merit list, the Board has accordingly rectified the error by treating him as PSP category candidate.

The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications, Notices and eInformation Brochure in this regard.
