JKBOPEE Provisional Selection List Regarding B.Ed. Courses 2023

Provisional Selection List (PML) of candidates recommended for Admission to B.Ed. Courses 2023 at Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu.

(vii) Letter No. HED-PC/13/2023-04 dated 11-10-2023 issued by Higher Education Department, Civil Sectt. Jammu/Srinagar read with F.No. NCTE-Reg 1011/1/2021- Reg. Sec-HQ/121840 dated 27.09.2023 received from NCTE.

(viii) Notification No. 115-BOPEE of 2023 dated 09.11.2023.

Pursuant to Notification No. 115-BOPEE of 2023 dated 09.11.2023, read with other Notifications/Notices issued by the Board on the subject, the physical round of counselling of eligible candidates who had appeared for B.Ed. Entrance Test -2023 in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu was conducted on 13-11-2023 at BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar simultaneously.

The Board had not issued the Provisional Selection List for admission to B.Ed. courses 2023 in Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu due to the reason that the approval for session 2023-24 of this Institutions has not been granted by
National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) Govt. of India which has now been approved by the Competent Authority vide above referred letter subject to conditions laid in the said communication.

The list of the candidates who have participated in the counselling and have been selected provisionally for admission to B.Ed. Courses-2023 in the Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu as per their merit cum preferences is hereby
notified as per the Annexure “A” to this Notification which is available on website of the Board www.jkbopee.gov.in only. The provisionally selected candidates are advised to report to the allotted College upto 22-11-2023 (04:00 p.m.) w.e.f. the date of
issuance of this Notification along with following documents :

(i) Qualifying Marks Certificate (10+2+3) as per NCTE guidelines;

(ii) Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of UT of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate);

(iii) Category Certificate, if any;

(iv) Any other certificate required by the College in accordance with the rules.

It is further notified for information of all concerned candidates whose names figure in the Annexure – A to this notification whose counselling was held on 13.11.2023 to report in respective College upto 22.11.2023 till 4.00 p.m. along with all certificates/documents in original for completion of provisional admission process.

As per letter issued by J&K sports council referred above, no candidate has applied under sports quota, & in addition to this no candidate has applied under JKPM category, so the seats under Sports & JKPM quota have been converted into Open Merit candidates & allotted to Open Merit candidates strictly as per their merit positions.

The Principal of the College shall get the all certificates/documents verified from the Incharge admissions and countersigned by him/her before allowing the candidate(s) to complete their admission formalities.

The Head of the concerned Institution is advised to furnish the details of candidates, who do not complete their admission formalities as short fall on 22.11. 2023 (till 05.00 p.m.) to the BOPEE office, Jammu /Srinagar positively through e-mail [email protected] / [email protected]

The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board through e- Information Brochure / Notifications /Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
