Second phase of recruitment for SI begins in J&K Police

The physical endurance test/ physical standard test (PET/PST) in respect of candidates for the post of Sub Inspectors (SIs) in executive, Armed and telecom in Jammu and Kashmir police under TRP for North Kashmir Range comprising of Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora began today.

According to a statement issued by police, around eleven thousand candidates (male/female) are expected to participate in the recruitment. The physical endurance test/ physical standard test in respect of the candidate belonging to Budgam, Srinagar and Ganderbal have concluded, it said.

“The chairman of the police recruitment board has further advised the candidates to stick to published schedules for each range and report at the particular venue earmarked range wise,” the statement added.
