Appointment of Assistant Professor, in Environmental Science in the Higher Education Department.

As recommended by the J&K Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of following candidates as Assistant Professor (Environmental Science) on regular temporary basis in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP Rs. 6000/- (Pre-revised) Academic Level10 with pay structure of Rs. 57700/- in the Higher Education Department with immediate effect

The candidates belonging to the Kashmir Division shall report to the Nodal Principal, A.S College, Srinagar and candidates hailing from Jammu Division shall report to the Nodal Principal, GCW, Parade, Jammu within a period of 21 days from the date of issue of this order failing which their appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled without any notice.

The appointment of candidates shall be subject to the following Conditions:-

1. The appointees will be on probation for a period of two years from the date of joining.

2. The appointment of the above candidates shall be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” as per SRO-400 of 2009 dated 24-12-2009.

3. The appointees shall, at the time of joining, produce the following testimonials in original which will be verified by the concerned Principal.
a) Domicile Certificate.
b) Date of Birth Certificate.
c) Qualification and Marks Certificate i.e. NET/SLET/Ph.D. etc and Marks Cards/Degrees.
d) Category Certificate as may be applicable to the appointees.
e) Health and Medical Certificate.
f) Any other certificate as required under law.

The salary of the appointees shall be drawn and disbursed only after the receipt of the satisfactory report in respect of genuineness of Qualification/Date of Birth/Relevant Category Certificate and subject to production of an affidavit (as per Annexure-A) to this order.
The inter-se-seniority of the candidates shall be determined in term of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.

The appointment of the candidates shall remain provisional till such time their certificates get verified by the concerned Principals and are found to be in order. In case any certificate is found to be fake, inadequate or not consistent with eligibility requirements, the appointment of the candidate shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio.

The appointment of the candidates shall be subject to outcome of Writ petition(s), if any, pending before any Court of Law.
