2 Militants killed in Encounter in J&K

Two Militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

Security forces launched a search operation in the Satora area of Tral after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists there.

The encounter broke out when the hiding terrorists opened fire on the security personnel. A counter-operation is currently underway.

On July 9, a CRPF jawan was injured when Militants hurled a grenade inside a security forces’ camp in Tral’s Aribal town.
