SKUAST-Jammu Admission Notification
Applications are invited in prescribed format (Annexure-l) to this notification for following Undergraduate/ Postgraduate /Doctoral degree Programmes for international/foreign nationals for the academic year 2024-25
HOW TO APPLY
• Applicants shall deposit the application fee in the account of University Examination Cell, A/c No: 1235040500000038 IFSC: JAKAOEAURSP Swift Code : JAKAINBBSRJ, Bank: Jammu And Kashmir Bank, Branch, SKUAST- Jammu, Chatha, Jammu and Kashmir (INDIA)
• Applicants shall fill the prescribed Application form and send the same along with required documents and application fee receipt through e-mail to Registrar, SKUAST-Jammu. India. Email: helndeskskuastjatunail.com
• If the content in the marks sheet / transcript is not in English, a certified english-translated version must be submitted.
• After ascertaining the eligibility. the University will issue acceptance letter.
• After receiving the acceptance letter transfer the registration fees.
• Email the scanned proof of the bank transfer registration fee to [email protected]
• Apply for a student visa at the nearest Indian High Commission/Embassy on the basis of an acceptance letter from SKUAST-Jammu. It generally takes 3-8 weeks to get the Indian visa.
Thus, it is advisable to apply for the visa accordingly and consult the Indian High Commission / Embassy, in the concerned country.
No admission shall be entertained on tourist / medical /short term visa.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED :
• Documents supporting educational qualification.
• Date of Birth Certificate.
• Proof of adequate financial support for the duration of study. Sher-c-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, India does not have any provision for financial aid for foreign nationals.
• Original certificate and mark sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University.
• Conduct and character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
• Valid certificate of IELTS or country-level examination or an English proficiency test.
• Original and photocopy of passport (valid for at least six months at the time of submitting the application) and student visa.
• Medical insurance with an evaluation clause* (wherever mandatory) for admission to any programme valid through the entire duration of study.
• Original fee transfer receipt.
• Proof of required vaccination for avoiding any medical complication in India.
• Candidates from Afghanistan, Bhutan, and Nepal/Tibet are required to submit No Objection Certificate from their diplomatic mission/bureau office.
