Advertisement for the posts of Senior Resident in Govt. Medical College. Kathua and its Associated Hospital on academic arrangement basis tinder S.0.364.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Non-PSC doctors only) of (Domicile and Non-Domicile of UT of J&K) for engagement on academic arrangement basis against the below mentioned posts in terms of SO-364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020, initially for a period of one year extendable up to maximum of 03 years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made in accordance with the rules of recruitment, governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier :-

Maximum age at the time of submitting application is 50 Years. In- Service and retired officers shall not be eligible to apply

Application From is enclosed as Annexure-A, The applications along with the following documents should reach the office of the Principal GMC Kathua, through registered post or by hand. The last date of receiving application forms is 25.D& 242. candidate must
have all the documents in his/her possession in respect of Educational Qualification, Academic Honours etc before the last date of submission of the application forms. No document and application form shall be received after the last date of submission of application form (within working hours from 09.00 am to 05.00 pm). In case of any delay by post the responsibility for delay shall lie with the applicant concerned.

It is the sole responsibility of the applicant that the documents attached with the application form should be legible and properly arranged in a series as mentioned in the advertisement notice. Illegible, dark/washed out, misprinted documents and documents submitted after the last date of submission of application shall not be considered for evaluation. Selection shall be made as per relevant recruitment rules. All the documents submitted by the candidates must be self-attested.

The list of documents to be attached with the Application Form as follows:

1. Date of birth certificate (10th Diploma /Marks Card/Etc.)

2. MBBS Degree Certificate and NMC/State Medical Council Registration certificate.

3. Post Graduation Degree Certificate and NMC/State Medical Council Registration certificate.

4. MBBS Attempt Certificate and Internship Completion Certificate.

5. MBBS Marks Card All Profs. 1 to Final.

6. Academic Honours:

Best outgoing student in each year (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4’h Position).
Distinction in any subject.
Position in any subject (1s, 2nd, 3rd ).
Paper presentation in National/ International conferences.
Poster Presentation in national/ International Conferences.
Best Paper Award.
Best Poster Award.

7. Domicile certificate of UT of J&K. (If applicable)

8. Candidate must submit an affidavit duly attested from the 1 Class Magistrate to the effect that he is not in Regular Govt. Service.

Note :-

The vacancies have been advertised as per the posts which are falling vacant or likely to fall vacant. However, the Department may withdraw/ alter number of vacancies or decides not to fill up vacancies at any point of time till the completion of selection process without any further notice.
