Recruitment in SKUAST-Jammu

Applications on prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position as mentioned in the table below under the ad-hoc project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of poor farmers through Animal Husbandry using scientific interventions in Jammu province” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

Name & Number of Emoluments post(s) per month : Project Associate : 01

Emoluments :-Rs. 31000.00 + HRA 9%

Age Limit :

(upper age limit: 35 years)

Essential Qualifications :
1) M.V.Sc. (Veterinary & Animal Science).

2) Qualified NET/GATE in compulsory for all the candidates including professional degree/PhD holder.

3) In case NET/GATE is not there, the emoluments per month would change as per DBT norms.

Desirable Qualifications :-

Research and field experience in the Veterinary and Animal Science. Experience of blood sample collection from cattle/ buffalo/ goat/ sheep and their analysis in lab, with the evidence of publications/ thesis

Terms and conditions for the project :

1. The candidates shall have no legal right to claim his/her regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any other contractual engagement as the project is purely time bound and non-regular.

2. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim on the permanent absorption in this University.

3. The University/funding agency/PI reserves the right to withdraw advertised posts at any stage without assigning any reason and terminate on nonperformance.

4. No objection and experience certificate from the current employer in case she/he is in employment.

5. Selected candidates will have to join duty within a period of one week time after the receipt of the officer
