INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM UNMARRIED MALE/FEMALE CANDIDATES FOR ENROLMENT AS SAILORS-SPORTS QUOTA ENTRY-02/2024 BATCH
1. Indian Navy invites applications from outstanding unmarried male/female sportspersons who have participated at International/Junior or Senior National championship in following disciplines :-
(a) Disciplines for Male Candidates : Athletics, Aquatics. Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Equestrian. Football. Fencing. Artistic Gymnastics. Handball. Hockey. Kabbadi, Volleyball. Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Golf, Tennis, Kayaking & Canoeing, Rowing. Shooting & Sailing.
(b) Disciplines for Female Candidates: Athletics, Aquatics. Artistic Gymnastics. Boxing, Fencing, Wrestling. Weightlifting. Kayaking & Canoeing. Rowing, Shooting & Sailing.
Note :-
(i) For Shooting, only top 50 athletes in Olympic events as per latest National ranking are eligible to apply.
(ii) For Sailing, only medalists at International Nationals in the ILCA7. ILCA6, 49er and 49Â (FX) classes of boat are eligible to apply.
2. The last date of receipt of application is 20 Jul 24 and for candidates of North East. J&K. Ladakh. Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Island the last date is 25 Jul 24.
