State Motor Garages Department Class-IV Selection List (State Cadre)
Class-IV posts of Helpers, Cleaners, Chowkidars& Safaiwalas were advertised vide this office notice No: RCD-886/Oct-2010/4621 -50/DSMG dated 19.10.2010 and subsequently re-advertised vide No: RCD-886/4388-4408 dated 4.10.2012;
Whereas, the interview of the shortlisted candidates was held on 26th to 28th December 2016 for Kashmir & Leh Ladakh based candidates and w.e.f 16th to 18th January 2017 for candidates of Jammu Division;
Whereas, on the basis of overall merit viz. academic as well as interview points the selection list of 29 candidates for the post of Helper, Cleaner, Chowkidar and Safaiwala was notified by this office vide No: RCD-886/1395/DSMG dated 14.06.2017;
Whereas, out of 29 candidates of Class-IV only 18 candidates have reported and submitted their original certificate to this office for their appointment in this Department;
Whereas, the rest of the candidates did not report to this office notwithstanding the fact that selection list was published on the official website viz. jksmg.gov.in;
Whereas, through the medium of another notice No:RCD 886/2017 dated 5.7.2017 published in leading newspapers and also displayed on our official website, the remaining candidates were asked to report to this office within 15 days along with required documents;
Whereas, after publishing the above notice, some candidates have approached this office and submit their certificate/documents for their appointments;
Now, (05) candidates as detailed in the Annexure to this notification are advised through the medium of this Final Notice to report to this Directorate within a period of 10 days from the dateof issue of this notice, failing which it shall be presumed that they are not interested to join in this deptt. against the post (He)/(They) have been selected and their selection shall be deemed to have been canceled forth with without any further notice and the candidates next in merit in the waiting list shall be considered for appointment against the relevant post.
