JKBOPEE Provisional Selection List of NEET-MDS Courses 2024

Provisional Selection List of candidates of NEET-MDS Courses 2024 belonging to the UT of J&K/Ladakh after the conclusion of 2nd round of Physical Counseling and Notifying the counseling schedule for 3rd/Mop-up round of Physical Counselling.

Reference:

i) Notification No. 062-BOPEE of 2024 dated 31-07-2024.

ii) Order Dated: 07.08.2024, passed by the Hon’ble High Court of J&K and Ladakh (at Jammu) in WP(C) No. 1828/2024, titled Prashant Balotra Vs. UT of J&K and Others.

In pursuance of Notification No. 062-BOPEE of 2024 dated 31-07- 2024, second round of Counselling for NEET MDS-2024 was conducted on 08.08.2024, in which besides the other eligible candidates, one Prashant Balotra, UT Rank 27 was allowed to participate in compliance of the order dated: 07.08.2024, passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, whereby the Hon’ble High Court had ordered as follow:

“…Meanwhile, the respondents shall allow the petitioner to

participate in the counseling process at his own risk and

responsibility and the candidature of the petitioner shall

remain subject to the outcome of the writ petition”

Accordingly, it is hereby notified that consequent upon the conclusion of 2nd round of physical counseling for NEET MDS-2024 on 08-08-2024, Prashant Balotra with UT rank 27 has been provisionally selected for NEET MDS-2024 Course under the Discipline Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College Jammu for the Session 2024-25 of the UT of J&K subject to the condition that the candidate shall have to produce all the requisite documents to the college/institution at the time of admission within the prescribed cutoff date, i.e., 12-08-2024, failing which his provisional selection shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio.

The above selected candidate is advised to report at the respective Colleges/Institutions allotted to him from the date of issuance of this notification till 12-08-2024 upto (4:00p.m) along with following documents in original:-

(i) Matriculation Certificate;

(ii) BDS Degree Certificate;

(iii) Internship Completion Certificate (upto 30-06-2024);

(iv) BDS Marks Cards;

(v) NEET Result card (wherever applicable);

(vi) Domicile Certificate of candidates belonging to UT of J&K/Ladakh;

(vii) DCI/ UT Dental Council Registration Certificate;

(viii) Valid Category certificate(wherever applicable);

(ix) Candidate who has passed BDS Degree from outside the country to enclose DCI clearance/recognition certificate;

(x) NOC for seeking admission to MDS Courses from the Competent Authority in case of in-service candidates;

(xi) Proof of Identity by way of Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport or any other verification document to identity as may be accepted by the Institute;

(xii) Any other document(s) as may be deemed necessary by the College/Institution;

Note-I:

1. The Candidate(s) who has been allotted Government/ Private Colleges, shall mandatorily have to join against his provisionally allotted College/seat(s) upto 12-08-2024 till (4:00pm) positively and in case he fails to join against his allotted seat he shall not be eligible to participate in Mop up Round of Upgradation/Allotment counseling under any circumstances.

2. After the last date of joining, the concerned Heads of the Colleges/Institutions shall communicate the list of unfilled seat(s) as shortfall, if any, to the Board by the College/Institution on12-08- 2024 at 05:00pm positively.

3. In case any information provided by the candidate(s) is proved to be false/fabricated/ untrue at any stage, the Board reserves the right to cancel his/her admission and also take penal action as per relevant rules and also proceed against them in terms of SRO158(rule12),which inter-alia reads as under:-

“If at any stage it is detected by the Competent Authority or the Principal of the Medical College concerned that any

candidate has secured admission to a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma Course by fraud, concealment of facts or mis-statement,

the admission of the candidate shall stand cancelled and such a candidate shall also stand debarred from seeking admission to

any Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Course in future and shall also be liable to criminal proceedings.”

Note-II:

The provisionally selected candidate shall also give an Affidavit to the College/Institution as per Annexure-B to Notification No. 062-BOPEE of 2024 dated 31-07-2024.

Note-III

The College/ Institute shall note the following:-

i) In case a candidate does not join his allotted College/Course and/or fails to comply with the necessary formalities, his/ her admission shall be cancelled.

ii) The process of allotment of Streams/Institutions for MDS Courses by counseling shall have to be completed by the last date fixed by DCI from time to time. However, the selected candidate, who has completed his admission formalities but is no more interested in continuing his admission, must resign by or before the last date fixed by DCI or as decided by the Board failing which he will not be eligible to participate in the counseling process for admission to MDS Courses next year/subsequent years. This is to ensure that no seat remains vacant and Board gets time to notify the unfilled and vacant seats. The candidate selected after the last date fixed by DCI cannot resign so as such candidate should weigh all pros and cons before participating in the counseling.

iii) It shall be the sole responsibility of the College/Institutions concerned to ensure proper check and verification of documents/eligibility as per guidelines issued by DCI before the candidate is allowed for admission and in case of any discrepancy in the requisite documents, same is required to be reported to the Board for taking further course of action under rules.

iv) In order to complete the admission process within the prescribed Cutoff date the Colleges/Institution shall keep their admission counters open even on Holidays/Off days/Sundays, if any, falling in between to facilitate the candidate to complete his/her admission process well in time. However, the candidate (s) should in their own interest avoid waiting for the last day to complete admission formalities since delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidate only.

Note-IV

1. Candidate should carefully go through E-Information Brochure, regarding procedure and eligibility for participation in the3rd/Mop up Round of counseling.

2. Details of unfilled Reserved Category seats after completion of Second Round of counseling are given as under:-

The Board shall first conduct the counseling of Reserved Category candidates during 3rd/Mop Up Round of counseling process and if any seat of any reserved category remains vacant due to non-availability of eligible reserved category candidates, then the same category seat(s) shall be converted into OM as provided under Section 09 (2) of J&K Reservation Act, 2004 and shall be allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit cum preferences.

The following procedure shall be followed during 3rd/Mop Up Round of

Physical Counselling:

1. The eligible and willing candidates have to report at the BOPEE offices Jammu / Srinagar for Registration/Attendance & fulfillment of other formalities, from 8.30 a.m. upto 10.00 a.m. on the day/date of counselling.

2. The candidate(s) who have been allotted Seat/College of their choice and have joined the respective institutions need not to attend this round of counselling.

3. It is enjoined upon all the eligible candidates that they shall visit/attend Counselling only after checking the Seat Matrix to be made available on the official website viz www.jkbopee.gov.in of the Board before the day of counselling.

4. The candidates who have been allotted seat during 2nd Round of Counselling and have joined against the said seat/college, if interested, shall be eligible to participate in the Mop-up Round for upgradation, subject to the condition that these candidates shall have to bring receipt of admission fee deposited in the allotted college for check/verification during the counselling.

This provisional selection/admission Notification shall be without any prejudice and subject to final outcome of the Writ Petition(s),if any, pending before any competent Court of law.

The other Terms and Conditions shall remain the same as contained in the Information Brochure, Notifications and Notices issued by the Board issued from time to time in this regard.
