SKUAST-Kashmir Counselling Notice Regarding UG-Programmes
Counselling in respect of eligible candidates for provisional admission to UG Degree Programmes under Domicile UTs of J&K & Ladakh/ Inservice candidates of Development Departments of UT of J&K for the Academic Session 2024-25
NOTICE
It is notified for the information of all concerned candidates who fall under horizontal categories and appeared in UET (UG)-2024 and Inservice candidates of Development Departments of UT of J&K who have applied in pursuance of admission notice issued vide No: AU/Acad/UET/(UG-PG)-2024/382-430 dated: 12-04-2024 read with Notice No: AU/Acad/2024/GoJK/Adm/110-70 dated: 01-05-2024 that their document verification/counselling for filling of the seats earmarked for each category shall be held as per the following schedule in physical/ offline mode.
The terms & conditions/line of reference for counselling shall be as under :-
▪ The candidates are required to attend, on their own expenses on stipulated date/time and venue, failing which their candidature for provisional selection/admission shall not be considered in-spite of having superior claim/merit.
• The seats shall be filled strictly as per prescribed eligibility in order of merit in UET -2024 /10+2 in case of in-service candidates of Development Departments
• At the time of allotment of seat during the Counselling, the candidates shall have to pay in full & on-spot the prescribed semester/annual fee, as the case may be excluding Hostel Fee.
• In case a candidate fails to deposit the requisite prescribed Semester/Annual fee, as the case may be, in full at the time of Counselling, he /she shall forfeit the selection /admission and the seat so forfeited shall be offered to the immediate next candidate in order of merit.
• The Inservice candidates of Govt of J&K seeking admission in UG Degree programme are required to furnish nomination letter from their employer at the time of counselling, however if any candidate fails to produce the nomination letter at the time of counselling can produce the same within a period of 15 days after being admitted to the respective degree programme(s) failing which their admission shall be liable for cancellation.
•Mere presentation of a candidate for Counselling, if called for, shall not confer upon him/her the right to selection/admission unless otherwise eligible.
• No Under Process Certificate in respect of any requisite document shall be entertained/accepted under any circumstances
• The candidate(s) who did not attend the document verification on the scheduled dates can get their documents verified on the dates of counselling notified above such candidates shall require to report SKUASAT-K, Shalimar by 9:00 A.M positively
• The Candidates are advised to regularly visit University website www. skuastkashmir.ac.in for other details/ updates and information in their own interest.
Note :- Soon after the seats earmarked for the each category get filled/complete across the Faculties/Colleges the process of counselling shall be declared closed forthwith.
