Eligibility Criteria for AW Workers :

Minimum qualification should be Matric from any recognized Board.

Age of the candidate as on 01.01.2017 should be 18-44 years.

Applicant must be a Permanent Resident of the J & K State and should belong to the concerned Ward No. where the vacancy of AWW is available.

Only the candidates residing in the concerned Ward No. are eligible to apply.

Present Residence Certificate (PRC) duly issued by the Competent Authority should be attached with the application form.

Ward Certificate issued by the concerned Block Development Officer in favour of the candidate belonging and applying for the concerned Ward must be attached in original with the application form.

Eligibility Criteria for AW Helpers :

candidate should be permanent resident of J & K State and should be presently residing in the above referred Ward where AWC is sanctioned.

Age of the candidate as on 01.01.2017 should be 18 to 44 years

Minimum qualification should be Middle pass from any recognized Board. In case Middle pass candidate is not available candidate with lesser qualification shall be considered.

The candidate should be from BPL Category and preference will be given to:

(i) Divorcee, (ii) Orphan, (iii) Widow BUT having good accommodation (Two specific rooms, Kitchen, Store, toilet and facilities/electricity and drinking water facilities) exclusively to be used for running of AWC.
