Commencement of process of selection of the newly created posts of Drivers and Orderlies for Special Courts.

Offline applications are invited on the prescribed format attached to the advertisement notice as annexure-A from eligible candidates belonging to UT of Jammu and Kashmir for filling up vacancies of Orderlies and Driver posts in the courts of District Pulwama.
Note:- the vacancy position may increase or decrease depending upon the actual availability of vacancies at the time of making final selection.
1. Domicile:-
Are domicile of Jammu and Kashmir in terms of S.O 166 dated 18.05.2020 issued by GAD, Government of Jammu and Kashmir and those who are residents of District Pulwama for a period of not less than 15 years before the date of applying and is actually residing in the area.
2. Educational Qualification:
The candidates for the post of both Driver and Orderly must be a Matriculate from a recognized School/ Board and must possess a valid Driving License with LMV/ HMV endorsement in case of candidate applying for post of Driver.
3. Age:- Minimum and maximum age shall be the same as prescribed by the Government in terms of the Civil service regulations. Are having age as on 01.10.2024:-
a. Not below 18 years
b. Not above 40 in case of open merit.
c. 43 years in case of SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC
d. 48 years in case of Ex-serviceman.
e. 40 years in case of candidates in Government Service/ Contractual employees.
f. The persons who are already engaged on adhoc or daily wage basis in the subordinate courts shall be eligible to apply irrespective of the minimum and maximum standards of age, and they shall be deemed to be given relaxation in the minimum and maximum standards of age.
The application form for the aforementioned posts shall be obtained from the office of Principal District and Sessions judge Pulwama during the office hours from 01st of October, 2024 to 20th of October ,2024.The application form can also be downloaded from the official website of district court (ecourts.gov.in/pulwama). If a candidate intends to apply for two posts, he/she shall apply separately for each post.
The dully filled up application forms shall be submitted in the office of Principal District and Sessions judge Pulwama (Administrative Section) during the office hours and no application form shall be accepted after the cut-off date that is 20th October,2024. Application forms submitted other than the offline mode shall not be accepted.
Application forms shall be supported with the self attested copies of following documents:-
(a) Qualification certificate (Matriculate).
(b) Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculate).
(c) Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
(d) Valid Driving License (LMV/ HMV) in for the post of Drivers.
(e) Category Certificate in case of candidate belonging to reserved category.
(f) Medical certificate to the effect that the candidate is fit to drive Vehicle.
A candidate shall have to deposit fee of Rs. 300/- in the shape of demand draft from any J&K Bank ltd. in the name of Principal District and Sessions judge Pulwama.
In-service candidates can route their application forms through proper channel.
4. Mode of Selection:-
A) Orderlies:- The Candidates shall have to undergo an INTERVIEW/VIVA VOCE in order to determine the suitability and Knowledge and the selection of candidates shall be made purely on the basis of his/her performance and the merit obtained in the interview /Viva Voce.
B) Driver – (Grade – II) For making selection to the vacant post of Driver-II, the assessment of the candidates shall be made on the basis of their merit in the written test and Driving ITl test.
There shall be total 100 Marks.
Out of these 100 marks, 80 Marks shall be allocated to the candidates for their merit in the Written test. On the basis of merit obtained in the written test, the candidate shall be called for determining the Driving skill in the ratio of 1:5.
The candidate shall have to appear for the driving skill test which shall be of 20 Marks. The candidate shall be awarded marks on their performance in the driving skill test for which an expert from the Traffic Department shall be co-opted as a member of the Selection Committee.
The final selection shall be made on the basis of cumulative Marks obtained by the candidate in the written test out of 80 marks plus the marks obtained by candidate out of 20 marks in the driving skill test.
Note:- The application forms complete in all respects will be received from 10:30 a.m to 04:30 p.m in the office of undersigned w.e.f 01.10.2024 to 20.10.2024.The aspiring candidates shall be informed through print and electronic media, & also through Official Website (ecourts.gov.in/Pulwama) about the venue, the date of interview/Viva Voce , written test and driving skill test.
