Declaration of holiday for J&K Legislative Assembly Elections, 2024 on 1st October, 2024
In View of the J&K, Legislative Assembly Election 2024, polling is scheduled to be held on 1. October, 2024, it is hereby ordered that holiday shall be observed in all the Government Offices/Private Institution/Industries/Educational Institutions and other establishments falling with in the Jurisdiction of Assembly constituencies of 59-Udhampur-West, 60-Udhampur-East, 61-Chenani & 62-Ramnagar (SC) of District Udhampur on poll day i.e. 1st October, 2024, so that all employees can cast their vote without inconvenience.
However, the said order/arrangements shall not be applicable on persons on election duty.
