JKSSB Withheld Recommendation for Accounts Assistant Posts

JK Jobs : Final Selection for the post of Accounts Assistant, UT Cadre in the Finance Department, advertised vide Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106- Release of withheld recommendation thereof.

Kindly refer to this office letter No. JKSSB-Scry/5/2024-03(E- 7415959) dated 10.03.2024, where-under the Final Selection List of candidates for the posts of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre was notified vide Notification No. 15-Selection of 2024 dated 07.03.2024 pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106 and forwarded to your department for further course of action.

Among the selectees, the recommendation in respect of Mr. Vijay Kumar, figuring at Serial No. 980-MU under OM/ESM Category, was kept withheld for want of Production of all Original Documents. The aforesaid candidate subsequently produced all the requisite documents, which were examined and the matter was placed before the Board in its 281th meeting, which decided to release his withheld recommendation.

Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to convey the above decision of the Board and release the recommendation in respect of Mr. Vijay Kumar figuring at Serial No. 980-JMU under OM/ESM Category for the posts of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106, with the request to kindly proceed ahead in the matter accordingly. The other terms and conditions, as conveyed vide letter No. IKSSB-Scry/S/2024-03(E-7415959) dated 10.03.2024, shall remain the same.

The above shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(s), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction. The Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of any inquiry, involving candidate(s) figuring in this Selection List.

The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree certificates and ascertaining genuineness/validity or otherwise of the same and recognition status of the Institution, shall be the responsibility of the Indenting Department/Appointing authority.

Moreover, in terms of Government Order No.1003-1K(GAD) of 2021 dated 27.09.2021, the candidates, whose recommendations are released by the Selection Agency, shall submit their Personal Verification Roll (PVR) before the appointing authority within a period of 21 days from its release, failing which the candidate(s) shall forego their right to appointment forthwith.
