JKBOPEE Admission Notice Regarding B.E. / B.Tech Courses-2024

Consequent upon the conclusion of five rounds of counseling for admission to B.E. / B. Tech. Courses-2024 and after receiving the shortfall from all the Institutes/Colleges vide Notification No. 124-BOPEE of 2024 dated 03-10-2024, number of seats in various colleges remain unfilled. In order to fill up all those seats, it is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned candidates that the Board is inviting the fresh applications from all eligible candidates for admission/upgradation to B.E. / B. Tech. Courses-2024 in various Govt./Pvt. Institutions/Colleges of UT of J&K w.e.f 12-10-2024 to 17-10-2024 in offline mode as per the prescribed form annexed as Annexure A to this notification.

Eligibility :

i) Have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects having 45% marks as prescribed by the AICTE taken together for Open Merit Category candidates, including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Para-Military Forces, Children of Police Personnel, Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) of UT of J&K/Ladakh and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports and 40% marks for the reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OBC and those candidates who had already registered and appeared in the CET conducted by BOPEE on 09-06-2024 are also eligible to apply for admission/upgradation;

ii) Should be a Domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh.

Important Information :

1. The candidates applying for the 1′ time shall have to deposit the application fees of Rs 1000/- through POS Machine available at BOPEE Offices Jammu/Srinagar using their Debit/Credit Card.

2. The candidates, in their own interest, are advised to go through the e-Information Brochure before applying. The Board shall not be responsible for any act of omission or commission in filling up of the application Form by the candidate. It shall be presumed that the candidate has gone through the information contained in the Information Brochure and has agreed to follow the conditions contained therein.

3. The procedure for upgradation/allotment of seats to be followed is mentioned as below :

a) Upgradation/allotment of seats for already admitted candidates shall be made on the basis of CET 2024 score first.

b) And subsequently as per merit of 12th Class marks for the fresh candidates.

4. The candidates are further advised to remain in touch with the BOPEE website www.ikbopee.gov.in.

5. The availability of seats in different colleges/institutes shall be reflected in the seat matrix which will be made available on the JKBOPEE website in due course of time.

6. The Board reserves the right to notify such changes as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control.

7. The other terms and conditions shall however remain the same as notified by the Board through various Notifications/Notices and e-Information Brochure in this regard.
