SMVDU Admission Notice to Ph.D. Program Academic Session 2024-25
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D. Program for the Even Semester (Academic Session 2024-25) in the following disciplines
Computer Science & Engineering Biotechnology
Civil Engineering Mathematics
Mechanical Engineering Physics
Electrical Engineering Energy Management
Electronics & Communication Engineering Management
Eligibility : 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Master’s degree in relevant discipline or inter-disciplinary/trans-disciplinary disciplines.
Selection Procedure : Selection procedure comprises of Written Examination followed by Viva Voce/Interview of the short listed candidates. (visit www.smvdu.ac.in for details). Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/similar National level tests as per UGC 2022 regulation or have passed M/Phil program will be exempted from appearing for the Written Examination as per rules.
Application fee : Rs.1500/- to be paid via online mode.

Financial assistance @ Rs. 25,000/- pm + contingency is available for GATE/NET qualified candidates and also for NoN-NET/NoN-GATE candidates (selected through SMVDU test) as per University rules.
