BGSBU Scholarship Notice for Various Programmes
(1) Submission of Online Scholarship applications under “All India Council for Technical Education” (AICTE) Sponsored Scheme “SAKSHA M SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR SPECIALLY A BLED STUDENT (TECHNICAL DEGREE /DIPLOMA)” for the year 2024-25.under.
Online applications are invited from the students eligible for above mentioned Scheme (AICTE Scheme) pursuing their, UG, and Diploma Courses in the University. Saksham is a MHRD Scheme being implemented by AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially-abled children to pursue technical education. The grant of scholarship is subject to the condition that student does not receive any financial assistance in shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend etc. from any other source during her course of study in the Institute. In case of receipt of any financial assistance from any other sources, the scholarship shall be discontinued and the entire amount of scholarship will have to be refunded to AICTE by D/Draft drawn in favour of “Member Secretary, AICTE” payable at New Delhi and Strict action shall be taken against the student for furnishing any type of wrong/misleading information in respect of her eligibility and other details for getting the scholarship and for furnishing wrong/misleading information during the period of scholarship. Online implementation will be done through Portal under ORLI/ imps://scholarships.rov, in/ Only Online applications under these Schemes will be accepted and no request for offline applications will be entertained. (2) Submission of Online Scholarship applications under “All India Council for Technical Education” (AICTE) Sponsored Scheme “SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR ORPHAN STUDENTS (TECHNICAL DEGREE /DIPLOMA)” for the year 2024-25. Online applications arc invited from the students eligible for below mentioned Scheme (AICTE Scheme) pursuing their , UG, and Diploma Courses in the University. The Scheme is being implemented by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to provide encouragement and support to orphans. wards of parents who died due to Covid-I9, wards of Armed Forces, and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed) to pursue education. This is an attempt to give every such child, an opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future through education it AICTE Approved institutions and courses. The family income from all sources should not be more than 8,00,000 per annum during the financial year of the application. The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at the Degree/Diploma level in regular mode (in Ist and / 3rd /4th year). The candidate should NOT be a Recipient of any of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / AICTE Sponsored scholarships. A maximum of 2000 scholarships (1000 for Degree Students and 1000 for Diploma Students) will be awarded every year to eligible candidates as above. ?50,000.00 per annum for nay year of study i.e. maximum 4 years duration for first-year admitted Degree students and maximum 3 years For Diploma Students as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer. stationeries, books, equipment, software. etc.

(3) Submission of Online Scholarship applications under “All India Council for Technical Education” (AICTE) Sponsored Scheme “PRAGATI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR GIRL STUDENTS (TECHNICAL DEGREE/ DIPLOMA)” for the year 2024-25.
Online applications are invited from the students eligible for above mentioned Scheme (AICTE Scheme) pursuing their, UG, and Diploma Courses in the University. The Scheme being implemented by AICTE aimed at providing assistance for advancement of Girls pursuing technical education. Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skill and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process. This is an attempt to give young women the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future by “Empowering Women through Technical Education”. The grant of scholarship is subject to the condition that student does not receive any financial assistance in shape of scholarship/any emoluments, salary, stipend etc. from any other source during her course of study in the Institute. In case of receipt of any financial assistance from any other sources, the scholarship shall be discontinued and the entire amount of scholarship will have to be refunded to AICTE by
