TA Rally JK : Recruitment for following Territorial Army (TA) Units will be organized from 08 Nov 2024 to 27 Nov 2024

Territorial Army Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Rally 2024: INFANTRY BATTALION (TERRITORIAL ARMY) (HOME & HEARTH) Jammu and Kashmir is organizing the recruitment rally for filling up the Clerk and Tradesman posts. Eligible candidates volunteering to join the Territorial Army may report for screening on the scheduled dates (given below). Document checking, screening, and medical tests of candidates screened in the rally will be held at the venue.

Territorial Army is a purely voluntary organization with part-time commitment only. The Organization does not provide or promise any permanent employment. The initial period of enrolment will 07 (seven) years only. Extensions beyond the initial 07 (seven) years are subject to organization requirements & fulfillment of other criteria as laid down from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria of Territorial Army Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Rally 2024

Below we have summarized the required eligibility criteria such as qualification required, age limit, experience, etc. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for any post mentioned in the notification.

Educational Qualification

As mentioned in the official notification of Territorial Army Recruitment Rally 2024, we have mentioned the post-wise qualification required below:-

Soldier (General Duty) Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following the grading system a minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grades which contain 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

Soldier (Clerk) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream(Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Soldier Tradesmen (All Tradesman except House Keeper & Mess Keeper) Class 10th pass. (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject).
Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper) Class 8th pass. (No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject).

Age Limit for Territorial Army Recruitment 2024

Before applying candidates must fulfill the age requirement criteria as mentioned in the notification. The age limit for the above posts in the Territorial Army is 18 to 42 years as of the date of recruitment.

Selection Process of Territorial Army J&K Recruitment Rally 2024

The selection process involves the following stages:

Physical Fitness Test:-

(i) Height – 160 Cms (157 Cms in the case of Ladakhis).

(ii) Weight – Proportionate to height & age as per Army Medical Standard.

(iii) Chest – 82 cms (77 cms unexpanded)

Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per norms.

Physical Fitness Test: Physical fitness test of 1 Mile Run, Pull-Ups, Zigzag Balance & 9 feet ditch will be conducted.

Medical Inspection: Should be medically fit. Shortlisted candidates shall undergo medical inspection.

Trade Test: A trade test will be conducted for all tradesmen & clerks.

Written Examination: Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical examination will undergo a written examination, the Question Paper of which will be bilingual (English &Hindi).

Screening/ Aptitude Test: Screening/ Aptitude Test will be conducted separately for Soldier General Duty.
