High Court of Jammu & Kashmir List of Eligible & Ineligible Candidates for Post of Research Assistants

Whereas an advertisement for filling up of nine positions of Research Assistants on a consolidated amount of Rs. 15000/- per month, as honorarium, was issued vide Notification No. 957 dated 21.08.2017.
These positions are to be filled up as per the Scheme /Guidelines for engagement of Research Assistants to the Hon’ble Chief Justice /Hon’ble Judges in the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, duly notified vide Notification No. 578 dated 30.08.2016, which stands duly published in the Government Gazette and is also available on official website of the High Court.
Whereas, now as resolved by the Hon’ble Committee, all eligible candidates whose names and Roll Nos. are given in the Annexure ‘A and B’ to this Notification, shall appear in the Written Test for filling up of these positions which is to be held simultaneously at Jammu and Srinagar on 23 September, 2017 from 10.30 A.M. to 1.30 P.M.The venue for the Written Examination at Jammu and Srinagar shall be the High Court Complex, Jammu and ADR Centre, District Court Complex, Mominabad, Srinagar respectively.
The written examination shall be held under the overall Charge, supervision and Control of respective Registrar Judicial of the two wings of the High Court.
Whereas it is pertinent to mention that on scrutiny; some application forms (refer Annexure-C to this Notification) were found deficient as the same do hot fulfil the prescribed criteria. The Hon’ble Committee has resolved to reject the applications forms of all such ineligible candidates.
All eligible candidates whose names are shown in Annexure A & B shall reach the respective venues of the examinations at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time and shall bring his/her photo identity Card Noter Card / Adhaar card without which no candidate shall be permitted to take the examination.
Besides this, the candidates who are studying in the last semester of their Law course, must note that if short listed after Written Examination, they would be eligible to appear in the interview only subject to their furnishing the proof of acquiring the law Degree qualification with 55% minimum marks as on the date of interviews.
