Name of the post

1. Professor
(Qualification and Experience)
Ph. D degree with first class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch of Engineering with at least 10 years’ experience in Teaching /Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and /or equivalent.

2. Associate Professor/ Reader
(Qualification and Experience)
Ph.D degree with the first class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch of Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience or first class in M.Tech with 10 years’ experience in Teaching/Industry/ Research.

3. Assistant Professor
(Qualification and Experience)
First class at M.Tech in the relevant course from the recognized University/Institution.

Age

The candidate shall be below 40 years age as on ending August 2017 for the post of Assistant Professor.
Retired faculty members of any Government/Recognized institutions, having the prescribed experience and qualification with below 68 years age can also be considered for the appointment against the notified post whose salary will, however, be negotiable.
